Relationship, Relatedness and Connection
“Exploring human and spiritual attachment”
We are excited to extend an invitation to you to attend our 2017 Chaplaincy Australia NSW/ACT Conference.
Continuing professional development is essential for chaplains and this year we will be providing this by focusing on relationship, relatedness and connection. Our keynote speaker Dr Marie-Therese Proctor will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to this subject looking specifically at “Exploring human and spiritual attachment”, and how a better understanding of this can assist us as chaplains. Another focus of the conference will be to give an update on where we are now, where we want to go and how we are going to get there. We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
Dr Marie-Therese Proctor is Head of Excelsia College’s Graduate School of Counselling and Director of the Excelsia College Counselling Centre. She is a psychologist, psychotherapist, academic and educator.
Her clinical interests include the development of self, resolution of chronic complex trauma, grief and loss; psycho-spiritual health, wellbeing and maturation.
