AUSTRALIAN CHRISTIAN CHURCHES is a movement of Pentecostal Churches in voluntary cooperation. Each individual church is self-governing, but commits itself to work together with other churches in the movement for the purpose of mutual support and the spread of the gospel in Australia and the world.
In our churches you’ll find vibrant, contemporary Christians who love the Lord Jesus Christ and express that love in lively praise and worship and in caring relationships. Australian Christian Churches are Bible-loving, evangelical and Pentecostal, and are about connecting people to Jesus Christ.
Paul Bartlett is the Senior Pastor of Lighthouse, a church that Paul and Annette have led for 18 years. Under Paul and Annette’s leadership the church has grown significantly, not only within the church itself, but has become a church of influence on a national and global scale.
Paul is one of the nation’s leading voices, influencing the way that the local church views its role in effectively transforming its community. A sought after speaker, leader, author, and coach, Paul draws on his 40 years of leadership experience to develop pastors at the three locations of Lighthouse in the Illawarra, as well as churches throughout NSW/ACT, nationally and internationally.
Although Paul is a visionary and innovative thinker he is passionate about serving a vision greater than his own. As an ACC State Executive Member for the past 12 years he has led the church planting, community engagement, and most recently Church and Pastor Health strategies, implementing the training of a team of mentors. Paul is committed to advancing the movement, serving churches through his State Role, his National Portfolio in Community Engagement, hosting conferences and training community leaders at Alphacrucis College.
Paul’s vast experience as the leader of his local church, and the variety of programs that meet the needs of people in the region has led to Lighthouse being a well-known and trusted church. Whether it be through Sunday Services, a weekly pop up restaurant for those in need, chaplaincy with the Illawarra Hawks, homeless youth housing, or the church’s school (Cedars Christian College) and its 650 students, the vision of Lighthouse and ACC is being felt through the region under his leadership.
Paul and Annette have raised their family in the local church and their children Jordan, Caleb and Sophie all continue to lead and serve. In his spare time you might find him fishing on his Kayak, but more recently any spare moment is spent Facetiming his brand new grandson Teddy in Condobolin.
