Who We Are

AUSTRALIAN CHRISTIAN CHURCHES is a movement of Pentecostal Churches in voluntary cooperation. Each individual church is self-governing, but commits itself to work together with other churches in the movement for the purpose of mutual support and the spread of the gospel in Australia and the world.

In our churches you’ll find vibrant, contemporary Christians who love the Lord Jesus Christ and express that love in lively praise and worship and in caring relationships. Australian Christian Churches are Bible-loving, evangelical and Pentecostal, and are about connecting people to Jesus Christ.

Our Leadership

Paul Bartlett
Paul Bartlett
State President

Over the past two years Paul has led ACC NSW & ACT through an extraordinary time, including drought, fire and (currently) a global pandemic. In a season where the church has had to re-invent itself Paul is committed to challenging and equipping local church Pastors and Leaders. As Senior Pastors of Lighthouse for the past 20 years, Paul and Annette have grown a church that is well known, trusted and influential in its local community and also on a national and international scale. Through Sunday and online gatherings, a weekly popup restaurant for those in need, Chaplaincy with the Illawarra Hawks, homeless youth housing, or the church’s school (Cedars Christian College) and its 700 students, the vision of Lighthouse and ACC is being felt and outworked practically under his leadership.

Although Paul is a visionary and innovative thinker, he is passionate about serving a vision greater than his own. As an ACC State Executive Member for the past 14 years he has had the privilege of leading many areas including, church planting, community engagement, and Church Health. Paul is passionate about seeing healthy pastors and leaders in our state and has been focussed on providing Pastors and Leaders opportunity for mentoring, supervision, and connection with the State Pastoral team.

Paul has been married to Annette for 33, with 3 adult children.
