The North Coast Region stretches over 300 km south from the QLD border with beautiful sandy beaches, lush vegetation, tourist centres with a range of cultural diversity (Like Byron Bay, Nimbin, Lismore, and Bellingen), and out west over the Great Dividing Range. The coastal communities are steadily growing and attract volumes of tourists. The larger ones include – Tweed Heads, Ballina, Yamba, Coffs Harbour and Nambucca Heads. Educational centres are based at Tweed, Lismore & Coffs Harbour. While inland the towns are more rural centres serving their local areas.
There are 26 churches and campus on the North Coast, with two additional plants being planned in 2017. The churches have grown up with strong connections between pastors and churches. Many of the leaders have served in their local area for many years and are now raising up emerging leaders for existing churches and new church plants. The North Coast is ready for a season of exciting new growth.
