ACC Essentials SRE Teacher Training (Primary)

ACC Online Essentials SRE Teacher Training follows the ICCOREIS (Inter-Church Commission On Religious Education In Schools) Basic Training Standard, which its members have endorsed. The notes for this Essentials course were developed and copyrighted by ACC NSW & ACT, The Baptist Association and Presbyterian Youth. These providers approve ACC Essentials: Uniting Church in Australia, Newcastle and Bathurst Anglican Dioceses, and Churches of Christ. For all other denominations, please check with your Approved Provider (the body that will authorise you to teach SRE) before purchasing to confirm this is the right course for you. ACC Essentials consists of a series of short videos for each module. Each video is followed by questions for you to reflect on and write about what has been taught. You will also receive a Teacher’s Manual for each module. Once the online modules are finished, to complete the course, you will be required to attend a Zoom session with one of our trainers. During this time you will be able to ask questions and meet other new SRE teachers. PLEASE NOTE Before purchasing this training, ensure your pastor will endorse you to teach SRE as refunds will not be provided.
