We believe there is strength in community so we combine local churches into smaller groups of regions and districts.
Our Churches and pastors across NSW & ACT gather in 14 regions, which are overseen by regional leaders and executive teams for pastoral care.
Regional gatherings are an opportunity for connection, vision and support of pastors and leaders.

ACT
Capital Country Region is a smaller geographic region encompassing Canberra and Queanbeyan and stretching out to the south to the Snowy Mountain area and to the north as far as Goulburn.

There are 16 Australian Christian Churches in the region, 11 in Canberra (3 of which are cultural churches), 2 in Queanbeyan, and 3 in rural towns.

The opportunity for growth through Church Planting is high as we are seeing rapid population growth to the east, west and north of the city of Canberra. Estimates suggest that these areas will house another 60,000 people by 2020. There are also opportunities in the rural areas of Bombala, Yass and Young. It’s exciting to see what God is doing in the nation’s capital and to see our churches growing numerically and healthily.

BLUE MOUNTAINS
Welcome to the Blue Mountains Region of the ACC New South Wales; a region of great geographical beauty and iconic Australiana.

Spiritually it is a region of fertile soil; well worked and fruitful along with yet-to-be-tilled seedbeds.
Our Churches are solid, strong, impacting Churches that love their community; knowing that our Father has planted us. Our Churches are aware of their place in a team that reaches from city to city, suburb to suburb, and town to town.

CENTRAL COAST
The Central Coast region has 7 well established ACC churches, some of them with campuses also stretched over the region.
They are well positioned from the South at Umina Beach to the West in North Gosford, East in Shelly Beach, the central areas in Erina and Tumbi and the North in Charmhaven and Toukley.

It is exciting to see that each church has a strong and unique culture which in turn attracts a particular demographic.
The desire of each church is to continually expand their vision, within and outside of the Central Coast, according to their different mandate and capacities by either planting, sending or investing into the wider church community.

HUNTER
The Hunter Region is a beautiful and diverse area that covers the coast, the mountains and the vineyards. It includes churches from Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Cessnock and other towns and suburbs.
Our region currently contains 27 churches with 89 credential holders and is one of the most active ACC regions in NSW.

Some churches are focused on serving their local communities and others have a wider vision for regional and global missions. All of them are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ and making disciples. They value the fellowship and support of other churches and pastors in our region.
Our vision, as a region, is to foster a spirit of unity and cooperation among our churches. We aim to provide relevant and practical training, mentoring and resources for our pastors and leaders. We also celebrate the achievements, challenges and stories of our churches and encourage them to grow in faith, love and service.

SOUTH COAST
The South Coast District runs from Helensburgh to Eden, covering regional centres and coastal communities in one of the most beautiful regions of Australia.
We really are privileged to serve in this area, not only due to the natural beauty but also the open-hearted enthusiasm of our Churches in connecting with each other and their communities.
There are thirteen Churches in all shapes and sizes focused on presenting Christ to those who don’t yet know Him, and connecting together to build strength and share ideas.
Our Churches are actively engaged in community service and experimenting with innovative forms of mission. It’s a great community of Churches to be part of!

SYDNEY CENTRAL
The Sydney Central region is a melting pot of multi-ethnic communities and vibrant neighbourhoods. It includes churches from the eastern, inner western and southern suburbs of Sydney. These areas are incredibly diverse and they share some of the yummiest food, beautiful beaches and most fascinating people!

Our region currently contains 44 churches with 176 credential holders and is one of the largest ACC regions in NSW.
Some churches are ministering to a specific ethnic group and others have more multicultural congregations. Whilst they are individually fulfilling the biblical mandate, being salt & light in their communities, they are keen to broaden their experience through relationships with other churches and pastors in our region.

Our vision, as a region, is to provide opportunities to build relationships and encourage collaboration as a mutually beneficial support. We aim to provide Godly leadership training, particularly around topics and needs expressed by the pastors. We also encourage ministry growth, professional development and facilitate credentialing within the ACC movement.

WESTERN
The Western Region covers a large and diverse area reaching across to Broken Hill, far west of NSW, and down to West Wyalong on the Newell Highway.
It includes larger regional communities such Dubbo with a population of 40,000 and smaller townships with a population of a few hundred.
The region is steeped in a rich history of early pioneers and it is exciting to see the pioneer spirit alive and well with churches continuing to be planted out of both the large and small communities.
The region lays claim to the first Pentecostal fellowship (Parkes AOG) to have its own Pastor (1911); build its own building (1916); and to continue to worship today in the first purpose built Pentecostal brick building which was dedicated by CL Greenwood in 1926.
The long and rich history is celebrated while continuing to move forward with that pioneer spirit to build and extend God’s kingdom into the future.
