More than ever, individuals are struggling with uncertainty, grief and loss, illness, mental health, identity and finding purpose in life.
The chaplain is God’s intended light carrier to the community: a vehicle for transformation as we navigate the chaos and pivot throughout constant change, to gain traction in a world that is searching for hope and answers.
Our speakers will bring practical content to prepare and empower you for sector challenges and opportunities to become a transformational presence in your community.
A shift is here! Chaplains and leaders are now stepping into the places of influence God has revealed, and bringing Kingdom impact to The Road Ahead.
FIVE STONES TRAINING
These courses are distinctive in their design, as they are fully supported by Christian Indigenous Leaders/Elders who walk the journey with the participants, encouraging and supporting their learning journey.
Five Stones Leadership is a three-year Leadership Development Project designed specifically for Christian Indigenous leaders across Australia. Students can be located anywhere in Australia, and the course is delivered through online meetings and on-Country gatherings throughout the year.
Our central theme for the course is exploring
Reverend Uncle Graham Paulson’s question of what it means to be “Authentically Aboriginal and truly Christian”.
It’s a unique transformational experience that will challenge the way you view culture, your connection to your community, and your place and space in the world.
Five Stones Leadership is a project designed and facilitated by the Elders Group and Australians Together.

MENTORING MATTERS
Ps Roz Zaia and Ps Susan Marcuccio
The New South Wales State Executive are committed to our leaders, so we have developed a mentoring program for our pastors. Sometimes we can get stuck in an area of our life and, with a mentor’s guidance, we can unlock that area which brings benefit to ourselves and all those around us.
Mentoring is an opportunity for an individual to meet with someone who has wisdom and experience, and it provides a safe, supportive environment for personal and professional growth and development. It is predominately about finding a good relational mentoring match that assists the individual to gain insight into their current situations and work together to reach the goals of the individual.
Our mentors will work with pastors and leaders from a holistic approach, looking at spiritual, emotional and mental health, and with a focus on sustainable leadership. The first session is free, allowing you time to decide whether it is the right fit for both of you. Following this you can sign up for six sessions of approx. 1 hour per session, at the cost of $50 per session.
Susan Marcuccio oversees our mentoring program, she can help you find the right mentor.
