ACC Essentials Module 3 HIGH SCHOOL

The ACC Online Essentials SRE Teacher Training follows the ICCOREIS (Inter-Church Commission on Religious Education in Schools) Basic Training Standard, endorsed by its member organisations. The course notes were developed and copyrighted by ACC NSW & ACT, The Baptist Association, and Presbyterian Youth. The following providers approve ACC Essentials: • ACC • Uniting Church in Australia • Newcastle and Bathurst Anglican Dioceses • Churches of Christ For all other denominations, please check with your Approved Provider (the organisation that will authorise you to teach SRE) before purchasing to ensure this course meets their requirements. The ACC Essentials course consists of: • A series of short video modules. • Reflection questions after each video, requiring written responses. • A Teacher’s Manual for each module. Upon completing the online modules, 1-7 you must attend a Zoom session with one of our trainers. This session provides an opportunity to ask questions and connect with other new SRE teachers. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Before purchasing, confirm that your pastor will endorse you to teach SRE, as refunds will not be provided. Once purchased, the module must be completed within four (4) weeks.
